2018 saw the beginning of Hasbro’s new fan funded division, HasLab! Their first venture was a HUGE success for a HUGE toy. A 4 foot recreation of Jabba the Hutt’s iconic Sail Barge from “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi”.
2020 has now witnessed the follow-up success with the next funded project, the Razor Crest from “The Mandalorian”!
To celebrate the new milestone, I have followed my previous “I Backed the Barge” patch with the brand new “We Raised the Crest” patch! These patches proudly use Kenner’s “The Mandalorian” toy logo this time to express that, together, “We Raised the Crest”!

As an avid Star Wars toy collector for 40 years now, I fell in love with Kenner and their Star Wars action figure collection before I even saw the movie. I was taken with toy packaging from the start and always loved the style by which the Kenner toy makers showcased their products for us all these years. I have taken the idea of using some of their most loved logos for some unique patch designs you won’t find commercially available. I have teamed with a great studio to produce some very good quality patches after many redesign steps to get them right.
The patches are 6.5″ wide and are an iron on heat backer. They are a black twill base with embroidered colors in a marble pattern to create the platinum Star Wars logo border.
