I am an avid modeler and history buff who has recently taken up 3D printing, so now I design my own accessories and modifications to the kits and dioramas that I build!

This listing is for a set of workable track links for a
1/35
scale Sherman M4.  According to my research, each track was originally around 80 links in length, so you need 160 to complete the tank, but some kits may need a few more or less, and you may want one or two extra to add more ‘sag’ to your model.  Since they are resin they are also a bit brittle and can break if they get stepped on or handled roughly, so I include roughly 112 track links for each side, 224 total.  You will have plenty to play with, use as spares on the model, terrain scatter, etc.
I also include enough 26
gauge
wire to assemble your tracks.  All you need is cutters to cut the wire, though tweezers or small needle nosed
plyers
are also helpful, and while they are printed with the pin holes in place there may be an occasional one that needs to be drilled out, but since I include so many extra you could probably just set them aside for your spares on the tank.

Like all resin parts,
plastic model cement won’t work on them, so
you need to use CA glue (super glue) to attach them to the tank or plastic
components
.  While they are ‘workable’, I don’t think they would be well suited for an RC use case, they would probably be too brittle, but for a static
display
model they are great and highly detailed.  I modeled them off of photos from tank
museums
, so they are quite accurate and have the traction chevrons where appropriate and duck bills if you want them.
I will upload more photos of the other variations after I get them assembled, and am also working on designing the T80 and T84 variants of tracks, so they will be coming soon!
Note regarding resin color, in an attempt to keep my cost and price as low as possible I don’t always use grey resin.  Sometimes it is not available due to supply and demand, and sometimes it is significantly higher priced so that I would need to adjust my costs up and down, and I really don’t want to have to be doing that, so from time to time items are printed in a different color, or a translucent resin.  Tracks are almost always printed in a translucent resin because it makes it easier to see when the pin is fully inserted.  However, even the most clear of resins accepts primer very well, and as soon as your first coat is on the item the details will become visible and the item will no longer be transparent.
Also, sometimes when I remove the items from the build plate, or separate prints from each other it causes the mounting plate to break.  If I ever see that the item itself is damaged then I chuck it into the seconds bin and give them away for free, but if the item itself is still in good condition just the mounting plate has been damaged then I still send them.  If I didn’t do this then I would have to increase my cost by at least 50% to account for all the waste.

I am not promising that these are exactly to a scale with a specific item you may have in the garage, or that every detail is in the exactly correct spot, so please look at the photos for actual examples of objects as they are.  If you want extreme attention to detail then you probably ought to buy the $25.00 kits and save us both a head ache.  But if you are a fine scale modeler or history enthusiast and you want to support a fellow hobbyist, then these items will save you money and help me keep my wife happy!  ;  ]
You may also wonder why they are all the same price regardless of scale / size.  This is because while the larger scales require more materials to print and take longer on the actual printer, they are typically easier and faster to clean up during post processing, and I also have far fewer failed prints when printing the larger items than the smaller versions.
Any tools, paints, models, painted models or demo pieces, other accessories, etc. … that may be in the photos are not included, just the items specifically listed in the offering details.
